Your Baby's Development in Week 19

Emotional Development

  • Your baby is learning more about how to express his/her emotions, so you may begin to notice little changes in their facial expressions and how they react to you.
  • Your little one can certainly let you know when he/she's angry, bored, or happy, and his/her ability to show affection is starting to develop, too.
  • If you're lucky, you may get hugs and kisses from your baby, but he/she’s more likely to reveal their love for you by staring into your eyes and being comforted by your smell.
  • He/she'll chuckle at funny expressions and try to make you giggle, too. Keep the laughter flowing with lots of silly faces!

Choose the best stroller for your baby

Now that your baby is old enough to join you on evening walks, shopping trips, and vacations, it's time to get a stroller. Strollers provide a safe and comfortable space for your baby to relax while you enjoy effortless mobility. Choose Mylo Baby Stroller , which comes with:

  • 5-point safety harness.
  • Multi-level recline.
  • Extra storage compartment.
  • Foldable sunshade.

Your Health & Lifestyle in Week 19

Watch video on - Breastfeeding during fever and illness

You can even breastfeed during sickness. It is a common belief that the baby may catch an infection, but that's not the case.

Resuming Sex after Childbirth

  • You may be physically prepared to get your sex life back on track, but it can be a little tricky to find the time and energy.
  • Here are some tips to revive the romance:
  • Flirt: Some saucy banter with your partner can help you get in the mood. And you don't even have to be in the same room to do it!
  • Try flirting over messages or texts when apart. Keep a sense of humour going.
  • Be ready for anything: If you're breastfeeding, some milk may leak or spray when having sex, so keep a towel handy.
  • Or your baby may start to cry, wait a few minutes to see if he/she settles back to sleep.
  • If you do need to break off to look after your baby, don't call it quits for the night.
  • Resume with some slow, gentle foreplay and see where it leads.

What to Expect in Week 19
  • Your baby's immune system is still developing, and he's bound to pick up some minor illnesses during his first year.
  • It's natural to feel concerned when your baby has an upset tummy, a rash or a fever, but these are all a normal part of growing up.
  • Be prepared for any eventuality by learning how to take your baby's temperature, and finding out the best way to give your baby medicines, including ear drops and eye drops.
